Story
Hello!
My brother Henry and I are genuine rookies when it comes to the art of cycling and have never cycled more than 10 miles at one time. And that's on a normal bicycle. However, we have decided to put our bodies, coordination and fraternal relationship to the test by combining forces (or weaknesses) and attempting a coast to coast cycle on a tandem bicycle at the end of August for charity. We are hoping to cycle the 180 miles from the Abbey on the island of Iona (west coast) to St Andrews Cathedral (east coast), in our kilts, in three days. We chose this coast to coast journey across Scotland, between two pillars of Christianity, because the main focus of the YMCA is on vulnerable young people around the world through Christian values.
I am volunteering with Y Care International, a partner of YMCA in October in TOGO 🇹🇬 for three months and would like to raise £1500 to support their work directly in youth development.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated :) Thank you!
