We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I will be starting the incredible 5000KM journey on September the 9th. I’m looking to complete the distance within 31 days this will be roughly 8 hours in the saddle and 180KM per day. Completely by myself and self-sufficient, I will cycle starting from Dover and finish in Athens.

On the last day I will cycle the remaining 500KM in one go that's roughly the length of England and 20 hours non stop cycling. I will have a support car for this for safety and nutrition.

I’ve chosen this charity because my niece was born with an umbilical hernia and was looked after by great Ormond street when she was born. Also no one deserves to suffer, but the thought of a purely innocent child who hasn’t even experienced their life passing, or suffering is a truly disturbing thought and if I can make a small change to a child’s life in these stages then a small piece of my mind will have closure. I will be regularly updating on here and social media so please be sure to follow me on the journey.

I will upload daily Strava updates and you can also track me live here using the link below.
