The Trailwalker Relay is a challenge for teams to walk 100km collectively, splitting up the distance between their team members and completing it in the space of a week. We will be completing the event as a family, running and walking various routes, or just tramping circuits round the house and garden for those of us still shielding.

Our fundraising will go towards the work of both Oxfam and The Gurkha Welfare Trust. The Gurkha Welfare Trust, during the COVID-19 outbreak, have been able continue to provide vital support to Gurkha veterans, their families and communities in Nepal. During lockdown, their teams have been visiting vulnerable veteran and widow homes to check on their welfare, distribute medication and give out financial aid, as well as bringing clean water to peoples’ doorsteps.

Oxfam has been providing vital support like handwashing facilities, clean water, toilets and soap in the most vulnerable communities. Since March, Oxfam have reached over 4 million people across 62 countries and we won’t stop. Every donation is helping people hold onto hope.
