On 24th October 2020 I will be running 44km with approximately 917m of elevation gain, then I'll jump on my cyclocross bike and ride the loop again before then setting off on foot to walk the 27 miles one last time, making it "A Grand Day Out".

So why am I doing 132km and 2751m of elevation in one day?

My father in law, John O'Meara is currently under the wonderful care and support of Ashgate Hospicecare and they really do go above and beyond.

During the current pandemic, Ashgate Hospicecare desperately need help to raise money more than ever to cover a funding shortfall so they can continue to offer their invaluable care to all those who need it. 

It would be wonderful to raise some much needed funds for this amazing charity.
