I decided to walk Machu Picchu whilst completing a charity walk in the Pyrenees to celebrate our son Finn's cancer free status !  I am 50 this year ( i know incredible ! ) and i wanted to do something amazing in memory of a young woman Nicola Riley who wasn't t as lucky as Finn Nicola  died on 24th April 2005 ,5 days before her 15th birthday she left instructions for the money in her savings account to be used to set up the charity to give families whose children were being treated for cancer the opportunity to holiday together - we went to centre parcs as a family and we have continued to support the charity when we can.

Steve and Debbie Riley are Nicola's parents and they are the most amazing couple who have continued to tirelessly raise funds  to support others in memory of their daughter.

i think climbing Machu Picchu might have been something Nicola would have done herself ,as a now almost  29 year old , so I am going to do it for her and you are all going to support me to get to the top ! I will accept any donations small or enormous !! Please donate - All the money will go towards holidays for families and they really are so important in very dark times ..
