Ian's 72 Hour Walk Challenge

Bestwood 72 Hour Challenge · 12 June 2020
As a result of the latest developments, Guide Dogs are unable to go ahead with thousands of collections planned across the UK in the coming months. Guide Dogs remains committed to supporting people with sight loss across the UK. It has never been more important to come together online and support one another. Guide Dogs appreciate times are difficult right now, but for people with sight loss, social isolation can be their every day. By hosting a virtual collection for Guide Dogs, every pound raised will ensure we can continue to help people with sight loss and feel less alone, now and in the future.
Last year I finished a solo walk around the coast of the UK in aid of Guide Dogs. I raised enough money to support a guide dog puppy in training, which I have named Banjo. I know the difference that Banjo will make to someone in the future and want to ensure that the charity can continue to support people living with sight loss, to live the life that they choose.
On the 12th June at 10am, I will walk around Bestwood Village Square for 72 hours, having a 5 minute break every hour.
I appreciate times aren't easy for everyone now, but if you are able to make even a small donation, or just to come and cheer me on, it would mean the world to me. Thank you all.
