I've roped myself into running 5k a day in November in a last ditch attempt to get that J-Lo bod before I head off on my travels in January! Morning Beth already has some strong words to say about getting up early every day to run 3.1 miles before work - and so what better way to stop me pressing snooze 1,000,000 times than using my challenge to raise some much needed funds for a charity close to my heart - Neurocare.

Donating £10 to my page could provide games and activities to keep neuro-rehabilitation patients occupied during long stays at the Spinal Injuries Unit

Helping me hit my £100 target could help reduce stress and anxiety in patients with head injuries by providing sensory equipment for use in relaxation therapies

Raising £1,000 together (dream big!) could fund the refurbishment of a family room to help relatives have some quiet time whilst visiting their critically ill loved ones in hospital
