Story
On Sunday 13th September, National Pet Memorial Day, I’ll be taking part in the Walk to Remember. This walk will be for three very special souls who left a huge void behind when they crossed the rainbow bridge - Monty, Banjo & little Maisie.
You will all know how deeply loved Monty was, but I’ll also be walking for Banjo, who found her way into my parents’ lives and “adopted” them as her own and for little Maisie, whose recent and unexpected journey across the rainbow bridge has left hearts broken far too soon. They were our companions, who seemed to understand us better than anyone else ever could.
I’ll be walking one of Monty’s favourite routes, out to Burpham and back again. It will be a peaceful walk of reflection and I’ll raise a glass or two at the pit stop for the adventures we all had.
All donations will be going to the RSPCA, a familiar charity, but one that continues to need our support to help animals who are still waiting for their chance to know true love, that kind of love that Monty, Banjo and Maisie were lucky enough to have.
If you are able to donate, however small, I would be so incredibly grateful.
Run free, beautiful angels - we will see you on the other side 🐾🌈🤍
