I am Juliana from Barut, Kenya. I provide people in my community with free period pads. But demand is rising, and I need your support to produce reuse-able pads locally for everyone who need them.

Story

What if you and I were all it took to end Period Poverty in Kenya?

Do it Now Now is partnering This is Our Period to engage awesome individuals in the BAME community in London to get involved and become the change we all want to see in Africa.

The problem is pretty severe.

Currently in Kenya, and many other places around the world, girls and women can't afford the products they need to take care of themselves during their time of the month. This goes way beyond chocolate and Ben&Jerry's. Girls are being forced into compromising situations with men more than twice their age, just to afford the sanitary products they need so that they can keep going to school. What if we could change that? That is what #PePoW2018 is about.

This is the Period Poverty movement and we're coming to you LIVE and in full colour from November 12th to 18th.

This fundraising campaign is reaching throughout the BAME community to raise money for women and girls that desperately need it in Kenya. Come through!
