Story
The UNC Education Abroad Scholarship enables UNC students to explore global learning opportunities.
On Bears Give Back we hope you will join us in supporting any UNC student who wants to study abroad. Too often, the expense of studying abroad can be a barrier to these global learning experiences, particularly for our first generation, underrepresented, immigrant, LGBTQ+, or otherwise marginalized students.
Your gift to the Education Abroad Fund will directly support our ability to remove barriers to study abroad experiences through financial support for:
Passport expenses, (costing $145 ea.)
Pre-departure expenses, such as:
Visa application and related fees
Travel to the study destination
Informational materials
Living stipend for the course of the students’ education abroad program
