CPR & AED Awareness Ride 2022 - BHF
Thanks for visiting my page. As part of C.A.A.R. 2022 we are supporting the BHF. For more information see https://caar2022.wordpress.com.
I am lucky to be alive following both a heart attack and sudden cardiac arrest. 60 years ago I would likely be dead.
The British Heart Foundation has, for the past 60 years, become the largest funder of research into cardiovascular and circulatory disease in the UK. Thanks to their work into both the diseases and prevention of further cases, they have increased the chances of surviving a heart attack by some 40%. They are also a lobbying body for cleaner air and mandatory CPR training on the National Curriculum. They have both changed lives and saved lives as they fight to beat heartbreak forever.
It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
