Story

On 31st March, 2018, I will be running back and forth on the Humber Bridge for 9 hours! For a good reason...

My family will forever be grateful to the staff, doctors, and nurses at Scunthorpe General Hospital's Disney Ward (Children's unit) for the amazing care and support given to my younger son Nathaniel, when he was ill and stayed there for a week. As mummy and daddy went worried sick, the people around us at Disney Ward went above and beyond to make sure not only Nathaniel was taken care of, but also that we were given the right support. Personally, I know of the hardship that staff at a paediatrics ward go through, as my mother is a paediatrician for more than three decades. I understand the struggles, but I also appreciate the love and affection they provide. For this reason, I am raising money for Disney Ward through the Hell On The Humber event.
