40 RUNS IN 78 DAYS, GREAT NORTH RUN VIRTUAL HALF MARATHON 2020, RUN 150k IN 28 DAYS AND MY 20th GREAT NORTH RUN IN 2021

 In conjunction with the Fleming Arms in Biggar we had planned a big fund raising year in 2020, ending with me running my 20th Great North Run in 2020, but a thing called Covid ended that.

Fiona and Ian Gibson have raised over £19,000.00 over the past 4 years and we had targeted raising that to £30,000.00; but Covid ended that.

We had to rethink our approach to make this target.

We still aim to have various events to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support and make our target. I am continually taking on running challenges until the Great North Run 2021. I have completed the 40 runs, clocking up 280 miles, I have ran the virtual GNR half marathon,I am 10 days into the 150k in 28 days and fingers crossed, the Great North Run will happen in 2021.

As we are all very much aware, the whole world is suffering in lots of ways and so are the charities who do  so much to help people, in so many ways. Macmillan Cancer Support are one of these charities and we need to help them as best as we can. We need your sponsorship, so that we can help them.
