Charlie was the beautiful daughter to my amazing friends Steve
and Anna, she sadly lost her battle with mitochondrial disease in March 2018. I
was very lucky to know the amazing Charlie and I am so very privileged to be undertaking
a challenge under the Team Charlie banner.

Every day in the UK a child is born who will develop
mitochondrial disease, a severely life-limiting genetic condition that can
affect any person at any time in their life. There is currently no treatment or
cure. The Lily Foundation mission is to support people whose lives are affected
by the condition, raise awareness and fund research into its prevention,
diagnosis and treatment.

So…… I am running the London Marathon for Team Charlie, to
raise as much money and awareness as possible in support of the wonderful work
that the Lily Foundation have done and continue to undertake. Thank you so much
