Story

Welcome and thank you for taking the time to check out my Just Giving page!

Last year, I completed the Yorkshire Tough Mudder Half which for me was a herculean task for more reasons than one. It was something that I didn't think would have been possible given how my OCD manifests itself but I achieved it. Not only did I feel incredible after it was all over, but I managed to raise double the amount that I set out to, over £500 for OCD Action!

This year, I am taking part in something a little less physically and mentally taxing but something that will still be a struggle. For those of you that don't know me, I'll let you in on a little secret. I absolutely despise running. I couldn't think of anything worse to be doing with your time than mindlessly running for miles on end as you slowly start to feel the aches and pains and strains creeping in. So I really don't know what I was thinking when I agreed to do the British 10k in Westminster but all I know is that I want to raise as much as I can again for OCD Action.

Year in year out they work tirelessly to help people who are impacted by this serious and debilitating illness and if you want to know more about OCD or know someone who needs help, I urge you to visit www.ocdaction.org.uk where there's information and advice a plenty. If you can donate, I would really appreciate it and it would genuinely help so many people to fight against OCD.
