Another 🩸bloody🩸 fundraiser run
I'm nervous to write this as I don't want to tempt fate making plans given how recent months have gone, but myself and some of my lovely running friends are planning to do a social half marathon on Good Friday which is the day before World Haemophilia Day this year. As many of you know, we have arranged virtual fundraisers for this over the last couple of years and I appreciate all those who have taken part or supported these ideas. I have not been in a position to train for anything lately and have just been getting through each day without the mental energy to organise anything, but now April is here and WHD is approaching I know that I can't just sit on my bum and let that date pass - this year more than ever, I want to show my appreciation to the charity and raise awareness of bleeding disorders. The plan is 13.1 miles from Starcross car park at 8am* dressed in red. The route will take in coast and countryside. It is not a race, and will be social pace.
*Time may change depending on logistics of home life / medical visits
