When dog owners unite, great things happen. 🇺🇦
Can you lend a helping paw? Our inspirational pals at Underdog International are raising funds to support the refugees and their pets in Ukraine.
To support, we've created the #boopsnotbombs challenge. To take part all you have to do is:
- Take a video or photo of your dog resting their snoot in your hands (and tag @dogfuriendly).
- Nominate three friends to take part.
- Donate to Underdog International.
We have set up this campaign to support Underdog International who are raising funds to help Ukrainian refugees displaced by the war unfolding in their country.
Underdog International is a UK-based charity working globally to help children and dogs. Their normal focus is to provide therapy dogs in schools, run education programmes, and to rescue and re-home dogs.
However, on the day that the Ukraine war started, they felt compelled to do something to help, so they used their contacts across Ukraine, Romania and Poland to set up operations providing aid to children, food to animal shelters, plus helping those who have fled with their pets to provide vet care and pet passport advice.
They have vans leaving weekly with supplies direct to the borders and into Ukraine, plus they have used funds raised to buy urgent aid requirements in the local countries. All donations will go directly towards paying for food and essentials for their families and pets.
