Along with my Mum and Martina, I'm running the Cardiff University Cardiff Half Marathon on the 27th March 2022. For those that know me, you will understand that this will be a massive challenge for me physically and I am slightly scared of how my body is going to handle it. However, Alzheimer's society is such a worthy cause and having experienced what Alzheimer's does to an individual, with my Granny suffering from it before she died, I want to raise as much money as possible. The support Alzheimer's Society offers to people is so important and research into potential risk factors and treatment options is imperative for us to understand the disease. Thank you for your support and I massively appreciate any donations!!! In the words of Dory "Just keep swimming!" but for me "just keep plodding" is very apt.
