Last year my wonderful nan sadly passed away.  Florence Nightingale hospice looked after my nan in her final days and did such an amazing job making sure she was ok and supporting the family 24/7.

To remember my nan and give back to this amazing charity we have decided to take on the challenge to trek The Great Wall of China and raise funds to continue their great work. This is going to be no easy task. 

In November 2019 we will be taking part in a 9 day trek across the Great Wall walking up to 8 hours a day across hilly and in some places crumbling terrain. With lots and lots of steps! This is like nothing we have done before so we will be training in the lead up to the trek. 

Please note: We really are doing this. We have already paid a deposit of £580 to register and we will be paying for our visas, vaccinations, insurance, equipment etc ourselves.
