I will be running the Great Manchester Run Purple Wave 2019 to raise money to help The University of Manchester provide undergraduate scholarships for local disadvantaged students and breakthroughs in medical research. Some of the medical research being carried out by the university includes research in cancer, diabetes, dementia and heart disease. I believe that education and research are one of the most powerful weapons which we can use to change the world.
