The RideLondon-Essex 100 is a unique opportunity to ride 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex.

Story

I will be attempting to Ride 100-miles on May 29th at Ride London for the UK Sepsis Trust (UKST).

I became aware of sepsis on 3rd March 2014, when my 9-week old daughter Aoife was ill. We thought she had a bad cold, but she actually had sepsis. She was placed in to an induced coma within minutes of presenting at the hospital by UKST CEO Dr Ron Daniels. Despite being very ill, and us having her blessed by the hospital priest as we weren't sure that she would pull through at one point, she did, and has made a full recovery.

I am now very lucky to work for the UKST and would like to complete Ride London 100 with some great friends and other UKST supporters.
