We are fundraising for the UK Sepsis Trust as my daughter Aoife survived sepsis when she was just 9-weeks old.

Aoife spent five-days in intensive care and was blessed my the hospital priest at one point as we weren't sure that she was going to pull through. After five days in intensive care, Aoife slowly started to recover and we appreciate how fortunate we were to have a positive outcome from her experience.

We want to raise funds for the UKST and raise awareness of sepsis within our networks to encourage other to ask 'Could it be sepsis?' if they or a loved one is suffering from any of the symptoms.
