Ride4Ryder 2021: Leckhampton Hospice Emergency Appeal.

Ride for Ryder - The Sportive 2021 · 8 August 2021 ·
Thank you for visiting my Just Giving Page, I hope it will inspire you to support and donate to the Leckhampton Hospice Emergency Appeal..
In 2012, I experienced first hand the incredible care that the Leckhampton Hospice team give to cancer patients and their families. The Cotswold Sportive is my way of saying thank you: Since 2012, I have ridden every Leckhampton Hospice Sportive and since 2016 I have been part of the event team (if you participate, you can thank/blame me for the routes). 2020 in the absence of the sportive, I rode up the equivalent of Everest (29,032 feet) and completed over 5000 miles of cycling in the year.
This year it is a pleasure and privilege to be back on the road with the Leckhampton Hospice Sportive. But, being me, one sportive is not enough of a challenge and thank you. So this year I am also riding in the:
Broughton Castle Sportive (11 July): 100 miles over the Cotswold Hills.
The Bronte Sportive (Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice, 18 July) 94 miles and 11,100 feet of climbing over the Pennines, Yorkshire Dales and Ilkley Moor.
The Leckhampton Hospice Cotswold Sportive. Our home event, 80 Miles (130Km0 and over 6,000 feet of climbing deferred to 8th August, is the final and, to me, best event in my challenge for 2021.
Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare teams are always there for local people who are dying. They are providing incredible emotional support as well as specialist medical care to people who are finding themselves in unimaginably difficult circumstances. We are all facing something we have never faced before which is why Sue Ryder has launched an appeal to make sure that they are still here. I am asking you to give whatever you can afford at this difficult time. Every pound you give could make the difference to whether they can be there or not. It is that simple.
Thank you for reading my page, and for your support. Please feel free to forward my just giving page to any friends and family who may wish to support us.
Best wishes
Brian
