I've decided to do what little I can in the grander scheme of things and take part in the British 10k City run on the day of my 50th birthday - 9th July, which now that I've completed the run, that surpassed all my expectation and pre excitement... especially in actually running past some of the City of London's most iconic landmarks and areas such as Piccardilly Circus, Regent Street, Leicester & Trafalgar Square, Temple, Big Ben & Houses of Parliament and more, with over ten thousand other runners on my birthday, which was so amazing and just such a magnificent feeling and a once in a lifetime experience that will stay with me forever!

This all came about as a result of a chance meeting with Dr Vadodaria, the founding trustee of the Help Smile Trust - who is a specialist in his field of reconstructive plastic surgery; who I had to see with a hand concern of my own, which soon after seeing him a few times I became aware of his selfless time, work and expertise that he and his team give to others from disadvantaged and underprivileged backgrounds, through the voluntary work of the charity, that Dr Vadodaria set up with a dedicated team of volunteers, which inspired me to do my run on my 50th!
