A group of Bridgend staff and volunteer team are walking the Bollington Nostalgia Hill Race Route on Sunday 4th July to raise vital funds for the Bridgend Centre. 

They are (so far!) Kerry, Jane, Becky, Anna H, Avril, Robert, Di, Maxine, Anna B, Sam D, Jo, John, Monica and Chris Brear.

As the Centre recovers from the Covid19 pandemic and our shop being closed for much of last year, we need to raise funds more than ever to contribute towards our running costs and remain at the heart of the Bollington Community.

We can't have a big 'in-person' Hill Race event this year like we normally do, so we running our race virtually. There are some fabulous prizes and medals available for our categories, and a pin badge will be available for every participant.

Some of our staff and volunteers may not be hardened runners but also wanted to contribute, so a core group of hardy souls have pledged to walk the original Hill Race route on Sunday 4th July. 

It is hilly! It is long! And it will be a challenge for many of us, however we will relish the challenge to raise funds for our beloved Bridgend.
