Story

Our Daffodil Day Journey...

By bringing Daffodil Day to Bridgetown College, we are doing something amazing to help cancer patients and their families across Ireland. Every single euro that's raised will make a difference to people with cancer and their families throughout the country.

In an attempt to raise awareness and some funds for the Irish Cancer Society, Bridgetown College is 'turning yellow' for Daffodil Day. We are encouraging as many students, teachers and parents to complete a virtual 5km fun run/walk, post a selfie to their social media channels and make a donation to our Just Giving fundraising link. We are also encouraging all our school students and staff to wear yellow colours to school on Friday 26th March and make a €2 donation for the non-uniform day.

Let's turn yellow, get out, get active and have some craic for Daffodil Day as an entire school community.

About the charity

We are a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers. Together we are transforming the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer through our advocacy, support services and research.
