Hello! I can hardly believe that I've been on this earth for 60 years!

They have been full of laughter, tears, and periods of calm day-to-day living. I count myself HUGELY lucky in having a loving daughter, sisters, cousins and generations of neices and nephews. Not to mention a lot of superb friends. How good is that??!!

So I really, really don't need any trinkets or baubles. I continue to fight the flab so definitely don't need any chocolates or wine!

But there are thousands of children who need the researchers at ICH/GOSH to continue to strive to find better treatments for childhood cancer. So please, if you were planning on giving me a pressie, just donate here instead. It will be the gift I really want. And of course, it has to be in memory of Rosie, who we were so fortunate to know, albeit only for a few years.

Let's hope we can help some of tomorrow's children to reach 60, eh??
