Brown Spray's book of terrible jokes · 27 August 2020

As the East Midlands’ only hospice for children and young people, we brighten the short lives of babies, children and young people who come to Rainbows. We want them to have fun and make special memories. We are also here to support their loved ones through the most difficult times of their lives.

Story

Rainbow's appeal for help on BBC East Midlands Today in mid-July really resonated with us. Although we are all facing unprecedented challenges due to Covid-19, this made us reflect on how many people are struggling more than we are at this time and in particular children and their families who might not be able to access the respite care they've come to rely on.

We decided to create Brown Spray’s book of terrible jokes to help us share a lighter moment as a Rotatives community together with our family and friends of Rolls-Royce; bringing us together in spirit, whether in the factory or office, working from home or on furlough as we hold fast together during these difficult times whilst also doing a little bit of good for charity.

We've set up this page so that wherever we are, we can contribute a few pounds to help Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People continue the amazing support they give to over 450 families impacted by life-limiting conditions.
