B Squadron ATR (W) - £4000 Challenge · 18 March 2016

The Armed Forces Para-Snowsport Team (AFPST), formerly CSDST, uses adaptive snowsports to enhance the recovery of the UK's wounded, injured and sick military personnel; both serving and veteran. It reintroduces the spirit of challenge and competition they were accustomed to in normal Service life.

Story

Dear All,

Personnel from the British Army Training Regiment Winchester are taking on the Toughest Footrace on Earth (the Marathon Des Sables) to support the Armed Forces Para-Snowsports Team.  Please donate to allow the charity to continue to offer recovery and rehabilitation pathways through competitive sport.  The Commanding Officer has set us a target of raising £50,000 in one year (by 4 April 2016).  My Regiment has already raised £35,000.  We in the Army do not fail!  I would be so grateful if you could please assist or know anyone that would like to support this worthwhile cause.  Your generosity and kindness is very much appreciated.

Regards,

Maj Paul Kingston, Officer Commanding B Squadron.
