We use the engaging sport of Triathlon to break down barriers and get kids active

Story

The Charity: The Triathlon Trust is the official charity of British Triathlon and their aim is to use the engaging sport of triathlon to encourage children to lead more active and healthy lifestyles.

How the event works: We set a challenge for the school to travel as far as they can on bikes and by foot in the school day. The BTT bring 30 bikes, set-up on turbo trainers, so they become static bikes, and also set up a running circuit.

The children typically come to us, in groups of up to 90 (space allowing), for a 50-60 minute period, of which we will get them exercising for around 35-40 minutes, after briefing and getting them into three groups. They will then spend 2 minutes cycling, 2 minutes running, and 2 minutes resting on a constant rotation for the entire period.

We need to raise £1,500 to fund the day so please donate!
