Story
5 Craigavon lads including Dermot Ormsby, Chris Vassalo, Sean Collins, Sean McKeown and myself are tackling the Connemara Ultra Marathon. Really do not know why, however we thought doing something like this would be an ideal way to help others less fortunate.
Connemara Ultra Marathon takes place in Co. Galway on Sunday April 19th 2020 (postponed and now cancelled with us declaring Saturday 26th September the new date with 13+ laps of Craigavon Lakes) with a total distance of 39.3 Miles. We have decided that the beneficiary of your kind donation will be Leukaemia & Lymphoma NI, which is the only charity in Northern Ireland dedicated to blood cancer research. Their mission is to improve survival rates and quality of life for all blood cancer patients by supporting clinicians, scientists and students researching these diseases.
Please give what you can; I think you will agree this is a great cause. We decided upon this charity as one of our teams family members have been directly affected.
Thanks so much in advance for your support. This will be a massive achievement for us and we’re all really looking forward to it. The training is intense & time consuming and we thank our families for their support in doing this.
BRING IT ON!
P.S. Remember: Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they will never share them with anyone or send you unwanted emails. Once you donate, they will send your money directly to the charity. They will make sure Gift Aid (an additional 28%) is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer, too. That means more money goes to the charity, faster, with JustGiving.
