Saving Lives Through Your Support. Each life-saving mission costs £3,500 and on average, we are called to at least five emergencies everyday. It is only thanks to the generosity of the communities that we serve that we are able keep the Air Ambulance flying and saving lives.

Story

11 first year student paramedics from Bournemouth University have challenged themselves to run 55km a day between them for 10 days in order to raise money for Dorset and Somerset air ambulance and Hampshire and IOW air ambulance. Both of these charities support both trust placement partners of BU these are South West Ambulances Service Trust and South Central Ambulance Service. Please note we will be completing these runs within the lockdown rules set by the government and we will be running separately to each other. Social distancing will be maintained at all times!
