Offset your carbon emissions and help Denyigba Lorlor NGO to plant 1000 trees

Story

Denyigba Lorlor NGO is planting trees throughout the Volta Region of Ghana. Three staff are employed to nurse the trees from seed to sapling. Each tree costs around £7.00 to grow. The saplings are gifted to community members to plant and tend.

I was made aware of the Dream Big Ghana Foundation by my good friend Dominic Bride a couple of years ago. Dom has spent many months in Ghana and has garnered admiration from me and many other friends. As I was due to run in the Hackney Half-Marathon in May for the charity (canceled due to COVID-19 measures), I am determined to help make 2020 a good year still.

What better way to do this than to run the equivalent of just under 5 half-marathons, spaced out over one month? I will be sharing information about my runs to keep people interacted and I hope that you will all support me get behind this brilliant foundation. Thank you!
