National Three Peaks Challenge · 4 May 2019

There are 14.7million people – that’s more than one in six – in the UK living with a neurological condition. Here at the country's leading neurological centre, we’re passionate about supporting the hospital to help improve the lives of patients through treatment and research.

Story

To Summit Up: This Cairn’t be a good idea.

This bank holiday weekend, Hayley, Jamie, Isy, Charlie, Anna and Tom will take on the Three Peaks Challenge: in 24 hours, we aim to get up and down the tallest lumps of rock in Scotland, England and Wales.

This will not be easy – rock hard in fact, and a stern test of our metal. But a few weeks ago, when we were made of boulder stuff, we thought this would be a great thing to do with the Bank Holiday weekend. Since then we’ve taken our preparation completely for granite and now we are but a few days away and starting to think it will be no fairground ride. No ferrous wheels for us this weekend.

Why are we doing this? Good question. We’re raising money for The National Brain Appeal, please give generously to spur us on our way for this amazing cause that has done wonderful things for people very close to us. We hope you agree with the sediment.
