We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Hi, my name is Callum. I'm 17 years old and currently in my first year of A-level courses at Furze Platt Senior School taking English Lang/Lit, History, Maths and Physical Education. I'm going to be taking part in the RBC Race for the Kids 2014 to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.

I have been a patient with GOSH for 16 years now after being diagnosed with a 'Tracheoesophageal Fistula' at birth, and having had 12 operations in my life time, 8 of which were performed when I was 3 or less years old... So I feel I owe a lot to the hospital for being able to help me to be where I am today, so this is my way of giving back all they hospital deserves. As the advert says, 'There's always a place in your heart for Great Ormond Street Hospital' and in my case there is and always will be.

The target is to reach £1000 which would be incredible for me to achieve for the charity, and anything over this target would be amazing! So if you can please sponsor me and play a part in changing the lives of children who deserve the best treatment at the best children's hospital!

Thank you!
