Story
After raising over £1200 for the NHS during Lockdown and over £600 for shelter in his last fundraisers, Callum Dorrian (12 years old) has set himself a new and even more difficult challenge. This time Callum aims to cycle (242miles/390km) the same distance as from his home in Plymouth to Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital in order to raise as much awareness and cash as possible for the charity.
This BikePacking fundraiser will take place during the 2022 summer holidays starting on the 11th August on a section of the Atlantic Cycle Route situated on the west coast of France. Callum will leave Plymouth with his bike packed with all the essentials to ride and camp out along the way. He will travel to France on the Brittany ferry to Roscoff where the Atlantic cycle route begins. He will not return home until he has completed the 242 miles and raised as much awareness and cash as possible.
Callum will be posting regular videos on his you tube channel "FireVlogsXOXO" to keep you up to date with progress along the way. Want to join me in supporting a good cause? Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate 50p, £5 or £500. Every little bit helps. Thank you for your support.
