Hi i am Callum im 11 years old and We are walking the 10k for my mum who has ulcerative colitis. It has a massive inpact on all our lives not just mums but shes the one that has the hardest battles because she actually has to live with it. Every day is different every hour can be different she can be ok 1 minute and the next we are rushing her to hospital or rubbing ger back while shes vomiting or tickling her face while she spends the day in bed too exhausted to move. Everyone thinks that UC is just toilet problems and that its not a big deal cos the person with it doesnt look too ill but as someone who sees it 1st hand every single day i can tell you now that its the hardest thing to deal with and its hard to watch your loved one suffer with it because it affects everything not just the stomach and there is NO CURE so please dontate while i walk 10k for my mum so we can help towards getting IBD more recognition and help towards finding better treatments or even a cure 💜
