We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

The Camaraderie Ensemble Collective and special guests present:

Camaraderie at Christmas

A 50-minute festive virtual programme of solos, duets and ensembles, featuring a diverse mix of music - something to suit everyone.

At Christmas, our songs focus on the birth of a child and hope for the world. Enjoy our virtual concert, and what better time to donate to GOSH, who help and give hope to so many children and their families.

Great Ormond Street Hospital and raising money for similar children's charities has a particular significance to our ensemble; also, one of our guest singers was a nurse there at the beginning of her career and has very fond memories of caring for the children.  We are particularly pleased to support GOSH.

The recorded concert in support of the charity was first streamed on YouTube, on Thursday 16th December A replay of the project is now available via the link below, just copy and paste into your browser. We invite you to make a donation to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSH) and see what you missed! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience, working as a team to produce the end result.

Our motivation in fundraising for children's charities goes back more than twenty-five years when the leader of the Camaraderie Ensemble Collective professional soprano Gillian Wormley and voice teacher directed a larger vocal group, 'Class Apart'. They presented a significant number of concerts raising money specifically in support of children’s charities. Some of the original members of Class Apart feature in the Camaraderie Ensemble Collective. We are pleased to be joined in this festive celebration concert by our guests, all of whom are well known to each other. We are collectively committed to continuing the fundraising tradition,  albeit in a virtual format this time.
