Story

Hi there!
In September 2020,, I am going to climb Kilimanjaro to raise funds for a charity called Hope for Children. Hope for children aims at improving the standards of living for children who were not raised into affluent surroundings. This charity has helped 161,000 children and families so far by improving their access to healthcare, education, and sustainable incomes. If this charity had not helped them, these children would not have benefited from the same opportunities as you or me did throughout our lives. Through your donation, we can together make a huge difference by helping even more children and families.
In order to understand the actions of this charity, here is the story of Mo. Mo is a ten year old boy from northern Ghana. He lives with his parents and his seven siblings. From the age of 5, Mo would go and work on the farm for up to 12 hours a day in 40 degree heat. "Hope for children" has enabled him to go to school by establishing a bike bank in his village and giving a uniform and books. Since then, Mo is excelling in class, was elected the President of a children’s club, and wants to be a doctor. This story shows that small donations bring huge changes. I am convinced that Mo will now be able to lift his family out of poverty.

Salut toi!
