Story
Over the past 8 months I've swapped party clothes for P.E kit and taken on a hell of a lot of running round London's streets.
As I sit here after 15.5 miles in the bitter cold with a chapped face, blistered feet, an ice pack on my hip and with two black toe nails I ask you: Please will you sponsor me?
I'm running for Oxfam who need no introduction about their tireless campaigning and fundraising to help poverty stricken communities worldwide.
I've pledged to raise £2000. I've asked 200 people if they could donate £10 each.
A marathon is 26.2 miles. £10 would break down to 0.38p per mile and I don't tend to get out of bed for less than 50p. I know times are tight but if you could find anything extra within the confides of your purses and wallets I would be forever grateful.
Want to talk about corporate sponsorship? I'll wear your brand colours or logo for a lump sum. Don't forget I'll be very slow, so a lot of people will have a lot of time to see it. Drop me a line to discuss.
Whatever you can afford will help a very worthy cause and a very poor 'athlete' get round the course on 21st April.
