After being diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer in August 2018 I needed a focus.  With my good friend Chris Walker, we successfully completed the Grand Depart Classic 2019 in Brussels and raised vital awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK , i have decided to take part again in 2021

This time I went solo and completed the first stage of the 2014 Grand Depart from Leeds to Harrogate. It’s a challenging 190 km ride incorporating Buttertubs pass. This was the hardest ride I’ve done to date. Once again I’ve decided to take part in next years ride in Copenhagen one day before the professional riders start. I am part of the One Hull of a ride team who my good friend Chris and I met in Brussels.

 We hope by raising awareness and money this will enable more research into effective long term treatments and Save men’s lives.
