About 6 years ago my mum Kelly was a fit healthy fun loving mum and Gran, she done swimming, squash and the gym almost daily and loved to party. Over Christmas 2012 she became very poorly and ended up in resus after many tests and some very tense times she was diognosed with churg Strauss vasculitis, This has stole the life that my mum knows, she’s no longer able to excersise let alone visit the gym, a night out or family party needs to be carefully planned for a time allowcated to recover afterwards.  I see the daily struggles she goes through  to carry on providing for her family and living life as best as she can. My mum is currently having a relapse and one thing she says to us almost weekly is that on a bad day she feels like she has done 10 rounds in the ring with Tyson, this got me thinking which is why I decided that boxing would be a great way to help fund vasculitis. I am a mum if 3 never done this sort of thing before but my mum never suffered this much before and she copes.
