We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year. Please join the fight by digging deep and sponsoring me - it's quick, easy and totally secure.

It is 10 years ago this year since we lost my amazingly beautiful big sister to cancer. She fought for years sucessfully getting rid of the disease but it kept coming back until it eventually took her from us in 2005. Not a day goes by when I dont think of her and of everything she has missed since she has been gone, especially knowing how proud she would be of how her gorgeous baby girl has grown into such a beautiful, thoughtful and loving young lady.

A cure for this horrible disease must be just around the corner and we must ensure that they have enough money to fund as much research as possible to be able to 'crack the code'. Cancer is just becoming far too common. I would never wish the experience of it on anyone.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.

Don't forget to add Gift Aid

If you're a UK taxpayer, please remember to tick the Gift Aid box as this will increase your donation by at least 25% at no extra cost to you.

Sponsor me now, and help me show cancer that hell hath no fury like a woman in pink.
