I'm taking on the 30 Day Pilates Challenge to support families facing dementia. Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nurse charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing care to families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimers disease. They help people with dementia stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them so they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days. They have the time to listen and the knowledge to solve problems, helping families take back control when they are struggling.

Like so many of us, I have had to watch asDementia and Alzheimer’s changed , not only family but friends behaviour then personality and not always in a great way. Having to learn how to communicate and support a friend or father in distress is heartbreaking. There where a multitude of emotions, learning curves in order to maintain independence,dignity and respect.Help me raise money for continuing support and valuable research
