I have been using my music to raise funds for our Organ Restoration Appeal in Windsor Parish Church. So far sales of my CD ‘The Sound of Life’ have raised nearly 1000.
I am recording a new album of piano music called ‘Pianofall’ at the end of April & this will also generate funds for the Organ Appeal. While this album is being produced, I am playing each week at Windsor Parish Church, after the very short Monday lunchtime service at 1.00pm I will be featuring tracks on the new CD, so the programme is called ‘Prelude to Pianofall’ Admission is free, but donations are welcome. There is also a gift stall, again with all profits going to the Organ Fund.
Initially the money needed to restore the famous Hunter Organ was estimated at 3000,000. We have worked hard and many supporters have been generous. Now all we need is 69,000 - still a large amount, but so much more achievable than where we were 3 years ago.
