Hi, and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

In October 2010 I will be joining Professor Robert Winston, Fern Britton and a hundred women to cycle 450km in the Beijing region of China, to raise money for Women for Women.  This will involve cycling for up to 10 hours a day for five consecutive days in challenging conditions but, having successfully completed a five day, 390km cycle ride in India in 2007, I am confident I can do it!

The goal of raising money for such a worthwhile cause, getting fit again and being able to experience a fascinating part of China led me to this decision!  I am also doing this in memory of my beloved mum, Joyce, who I still miss so much!

The money raised will be used to fund medical research to improve prevention, diagnosis and treatment of a range of conditions which cause genetic diseases, miscarriages, infertility, cancer and brain damage in women and their babies.
