We set up this page after being inspired by Shelter’s #NoHomeKit proposal, for all 20 Premier League teams to wear their away kits for the Boxing Day fixtures this season. The idea behind #NoHomeKit was to raise awareness around homelessness in the UK, especially over the incredibly tough Christmas and winter period.

Regrettably the Premier League rejected the proposal (as it stands) in accordance with its rules. However, Caversham United are not governed by Premier League rules (because we are massive) and want to run with the idea, encourage fellow grassroots football team to get involved and raise both funds and awareness for Shelter and homelessness in the UK.

We do not typically have a Boxing Day fixture, though, and therefore propose to wear our away kit for every fixture in December. Hopefully our fellow amateur clubs will agree to do the same!
