The word epic is used loosely a lot today but I am doing what I would call an epic cycling tour on July 18th from Edinburgh Castle in Edinburgh down to Buckingham Palace in London ...around 430 miles in 5 days (over 80 miles a day). This will consist of many hills, probably some rain, summer heat and tiredness. Finally, I am doing this alone as a personal challenge. So its not your run of the mill 10km - one hour run.

I am looking to raise money for my local charity back at home 'Claire House Childrens Hospital'. The Hospice runs purely on donations from the public and helps children who are disabled, orphaned, mentally challenged or in general need of care. My nan has been working for them voluntarily for 8 years and they need over £2 million per year just to stay open. You can see more info here at Claire House Childrens Hospice.
