Chain Gang Cyclists (CGC) was founded during Quarantine 2020. Individuals had developed a passion for cycling as a way to keep fit and get much needed head space during phase 1 lockdown. As restrictions eased several friends who had developed the same love for the tarmac grew together to form a bike chain, which started as a group meet up and has since turned into a weekly occurrence of rides across London and surrounded areas.

Commonly amongst existing and new members we’ve all found that maintaining a positive mindset is so important to a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Our chain rides have really helped to reduce anxiety and remove the worry of the current climate by providing an inclusive environment where members can just ride on the open road and let the journey take you.

Our mission is to encourage other males & females to pursue cycling for self care and improved well being.
