Lily's Walk for Will

Lily Dannreuther (9):
"I have decided to do a sponsored walk from Brighton to Eastbourne for the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. My friend Will sadly died two weeks ago and was treated at the hospital on a number of occasions for his brain tumour. Brain tumours kill more adults and children under 40 than any other cancer and one in 50 people who die under 60 die from a brain tumour. But only 1% of cancer research funding goes on brain tumours. Will helped to raise money for the first brain tumour ward at the hospital but they already need to make it bigger.
Will was very sporty and was the captain of a cricket team he set up in London. He was also extremely kind and never complained, even though he had reason to. Most importantly, Will lived his life to the full. We all miss him, especially his son George (13) and his wife Lindsay"
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I will accompany Lily over the two day walk on the 1st and 2nd of October and ask you to give whatever you can. Brain tumours receive less press interest, funding and resources than breast, prostrate, bowel and lung cancers. Yet as a cancer it attacks any age group and currently the treatments are punishing.
